Severe Weather Arrangements.
Update: 16.30hrs; 10th January. 2 races completed.

Despite several inches of snow falling across the South East of England with more forecast over the weekend of 9th & 10th January, Bough Beech was able to complete races 3 & 4 in the Icicle Series.
Inspections of the lake and the environs of the club were made, the lake remained clear of ice and roads to the south via Penshurst or Leigh were passable.
The Race Officer was able to run two races for the hearty sailors able to make it to the club, not least due to the sterling efforts and commitment of the duty crews over the weekend.

The “Icicle”, is by its nature a tough series and racing will only be cancelled if absolutely necessary, either on the grounds of safety, or of adequate duty crew being unable to get to the club.
